Masala Pav one of the main street foods of Mumbai which is a masaledar combination of onions, capsicum, tomatoes stuffed in the butter toast pavs.

Ingredients needed for Masala Pav
- Pav / Bakery Bread - 6
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Onion chopped (medium size) 1
- Tomato - 2 (finely chopped)
- Capsicum – ½ (Sliced)
- Green chili – 2 (Finely Chopped)
- Mustard Seeds – ½ tbsp
- Few Curry Leaves
- Red chili powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
- Dry mango powder – ½ tbsp
- Butter or Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – According to your taste
- Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp
Preparation Method:
- First, slice all the pav/ bakery bread and keep aside.
- Heat butter or oil in a pan and add curry leaves and mustard seeds.
- When the seeds start spluttering, add green chilies, ginger and garlic paste.
- Stir and saute till the raw aroma of paste goes away. Add chopped onions.
- Saute on a low to medium flame till they turn translucent.
- Add chopped tomato and capsicum stir and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Then Add remaining spices and salt, mix it well.
- Continue mixing for a few seconds.
- Arrange pav in the pan in such a way that prepared masala should stuff inside the pav and leave some masala outside the pav as well.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve hot.
