We often eat cheese franky outside. This is a very famous, tasty dish and easy to make. There are the few simple steps to make a delicious potato cheese franky at home. So let’s go to the cheesy world.
How to make Cheese Franky
- Preparation time: 20 mins
- Cook Time: 25 mins
- Serves: 5
Ingredients needed for Cheese Franky
For the franky roti:
- Plain Flour/ Maida – ¾ Cup
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt – As per the taste
- Water – As per the requirement
For the stuffing:
- Potato Medium Large – 3 (boiled, peeled & mashed)
- Corn Flour – 4 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
- Capsicum – 1 (finely chopped)
- Carrots – 1 (grated-small size)
- Small cabbage – ½ (thinly sliced)
- Salt – As per the requirements
- Ghee – 2 ½ tbsp.
- Oil – For fry
- Cheese – ½ Cup (Grated)
- Garam Masala – ½ tbsp
For Spread
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Red Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
- Tomato Sauce – 1 tbsp
- Chaat Masala – 1/4 tbsp
- Cheese – 5 tbsp (Grated)
Preparation Method
For Roti:
- Mix all the ingredients in bowl & knead soft dough using enough water.
- Keep the aside for 30 mins
- Now divide the dough in 6 portion and roll each portion in circle (in chapati size)
- Heat the gridle and cook roti till brown spots appear on the both side using little oil, Keep aside.
For Stuffing:
- Mix all the stuffing ingredients and divide them in 6 portion and make a cylindrical roll
- Heat the oil in pan and deep fry all the rolls till it become golden brown, Keep it aside
How to make:
-Place a roti on hot gridle, add butter and sprinkle little chaat masala over it.
-Put roll in the centre and add spread grated cheese over it.
- Roll it tightly and seal it with a tooth stick or foil paper.
-To make more frankies repeat the same process, Serve hot.
